Key deadlines
So, what are the key deadlines you need to know about? Let’s take a look:

March 2, 2026: Last day to make an RRSP contribution deductible against your 2025 tax return.

April 30, 2026: Last day to file your personal tax return if you don’t have self-employment income

June 15, 2026: Last day to file your 2025 personal tax return if you have self-employment income (or are the spouse of someone who does).

June 30, 2026: Last day to file a corporate tax return if your corporation has a December 31 year-end.

Personal tax deadlines
Filing Deadline:
- April 30, 2026: For most individuals.
- June 15, 2026: If you (or your spouse) have self-employment income.
Tax Payment Deadlines:
- April 30, 2026: Taxes owed must be paid by this date to avoid interest, regardless of your filing deadline.

Your deadlines depend on your filing frequency:
