Mohammed Al-khooly

I used to work with some of the richest people in Canada. I helped them with everything from tax planning to estate planning and cross-border work. I was really good at it, but then it just felt unfulfilling. Helping billionaires save a few extra million in tax doesn’t really impact their lifestyle. But helping a business owner save $100,000 in tax makes a huge difference. I noticed a lack of proper and proactive tax advice given to professionals and small to medium-sized businesses and resonated more with them, which is why I started to provide that high-level advice to those individuals and businesses. I help them best with structuring their business, paying themselves from their business, and planning their estate.

Shafi Warraich

I’ve had the opportunity to work at both the Canada Revenue Agency and a Big 4 accounting firm. Over the years, I’ve helped the biggest real estate developers and tech companies achieve significant tax savings, but I realized that the same level of expertise should be accessible to everyday business owners. That’s why I co-founded CoPilot Tax LLP. My focus is on working closely with owners and management to tackle their accounting and tax challenges head-on, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive.
